COUNTRY TO COUNTRY WRAPPED UP

Country To Country Festival London

We had been waiting over a year to finally make our debut appearance at Country To Country and although the snow tried it's best to stop us on departure day, no amount of Arctic weather could keep us from having a blast at the Melbelle stall!

We drove through the snow, we danced to country music from The Barrelhouse next door, and we loved seeing all of you!

I’m still in shock… Lainey Wilson wore Melbelle for her pre-festival interviews!

The country singer and Yellowstone actress personally selected the Boho Western Fringe Vest and the Galloping Horse Shirt from our site and loved the vest so much that she immediately popped it on over her outfit and continued to wear it for her interviews (see the pictures left and below).

From the video clips we’ve seen, it looks like Lainey’s performance at C2C was jaw-droppingly great!

Adrena Austin, presenter for CountryLine TV has the enviable job each year of interviewing the country stars in the week prior to their Country To Country Festival performances. This year, she interviewed the likes of Matt Stell, Tenille Arts and Lainey Wilson!

Through the co-ordination of both Adrena and Lainey’s Manager, Lainey was able to select a couple of Melbelle items to wear during the interviews.

Pictured left dressed head-to-almost-toe in Melbelle at the C2C Festival, Adrena deserves a special mention and a huge thank you!

Adrena’s outfit: Melbelle Faux Suede Fringe Jacket in pink, the Melbelle Eden Maxi Dress (sold out) and boots from Top Shop.

My outfit: Melbelle Southwestern Aztec Shacket in beige, jeans from Mint Velvet, fringe bag from Boohoo, belt from Sezane and Ugg Boots.

Thanks to my helpers Kiera and Shane, and some last minute tweaking to the layout design, the stall looked incredible. The van was full to the brim with cowboy boots, hats, t-shirts and other stock on the way down and boy am I glad it was – we enjoyed our busiest weekend of sales ever!

Despite the full van load, we still managed to sell out of several pieces, including our wide brim hats but our next batch of these have just arrived so keep an eye on our website for re-stocks over the next couple of days! I was overjoyed and feeling very proud to sell out of the ‘Styled by Mel’ hats, with these having been the first ever hats that I’ve styled. I couldn’t be more grateful for all the love and support over the weekend from our customers.

Adam, Kiera and Shane, I couldn’t have got through the festival without you guys – thank you. We were so rushed off our feet for the duration that we sadly didn’t manage to get a team photo.

Long-time Melbelle customer Britt Jenkins and me with our matching bags, ironically not from Melbelle (find them at Boohoo)! Britt’s hat was her latest Melbelle purchase (along with what I’m now referring to as ‘The Lainey Vest‘).

Liz Robson with her new Melbelle fringe jacket, enjoying a drink and good music with her pal.

Meredith Pickett looking fabulous with her daisy jumper and new Melbelle hat.
