All year round, denim pieces are my favourite go-to items and if it has a fringe, even better! I love how a fringe jacket can pair with a delicate floral print dress for a western spin on a formal outfit just as easily as it can a pair of ripped mum jeans. While these jackets are perfect for casual strolls and trips to our local, I cannot wait to take our new Melbelle Catalina Denim Fringe Jacket out for its first festival appearance this summer.
I’ve included a few floral dresses I’m loving for wearing with this fringe jacket. This babydoll-inspired silhouette button front dress from Bod & Ted features a romantic cut-out smocked back, for example, and this cream western-inspired dress with embroidered floral details from the Melbelle collection.
I don’t own any other patterned back denim jackets, which makes this even more unique and special amongst my other jackets. A bonus is that the fringe is optional, to suit individual styles. It has that ‘frequently worn’ soft denim feel with an oversized fit, making it a comfy ‘go-to’ piece. Team with a tan bag, like this one from New Look, for a western-inspired cowgirl finishing touch to complete a festival-worthy summer outfit.
