Because the right outfit doesn’t just get worn — it transforms the moment.
May’s submissions were such a contrast and a fun challenge for me. A special minimoon outfit in an alternative/rock cowgirl style for The Long Road Festival, and an ultra-feminine western boho outfit also The Long Road Festival!
Two very different requests. One festival. Two looks built around exactly what makes you ‘you’.
Let’s see the final outfits…
THE LONG ROAD FESTIVAL MINIMOON OUTFIT
Style Request: Alternative / rock cowgirl
Budget: up to £400
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Confetti Printed 50’s Style Midi Dress | Til Death Do Us Part Wedding Jacket | Mac Ruby Woo Red Lipstick | Ariat Darlin Ankle Cowboy Boots | Western Steerhead Ring | Wide Brim Boater Hat
There’s something about styling a festival minimoon outfit that just makes you smile. Because it has to work hard — romantic enough for a honeymoon, relaxed enough for a field, and cool enough to feel like you on one of the best weekends of your life.
This whole look started with the Confetti Printed 50’s Style Midi Dress from Hell Bunny — and honestly, it does most of the work for you. The scattered heart print, the full midi skirt, that little keyhole neckline — it’s playful and pretty without being too precious. Exactly right for dancing in a field with your person.
The Til Death Do Us Part Wedding Jacket is where the look finds its personality. Studded, personalised, and just a little bit punk — it takes the sweetness of the dress and gives it a real edge. It’s the piece that makes people do a double-take, and honestly? That’s the whole point.
The rest is about bringing in that western warmth. The Ariat Darlin Ankle Cowboy Boots are built for long festival days — sturdy, stylish, and they look incredible with a full skirt. The Wide Brim Boater Hat adds a little drama and a lot of shade, while the Western Steerhead Ring brings in that quiet, characterful detail that pulls a look together without shouting about it.
Finish with a swipe of Mac Ruby Woo — bold, classic, utterly timeless — and you’re ready. Newlywed. Festival queen. Both at once.
ULTRA-FEMININE OUTFIT FOR THE LONG ROAD FESTIVAL & LUKE COMBS CONCERT
Style Request: Western boho, ultra feminine, sexy
Budget: up to £700
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Floral Embroidered Lace Trim Mini Dress | Ariat Pink Cowboy Boots – special early access link here! | Ranch Tan Cowboy Hat | Fringe Jacket | Feather Fringe Hoop Earrings
Here’s the rewritten version:
This next outfit request made me smile the moment I read it — she wanted something ultra feminine and western boho, but with a little more heat to it. Sexy, but still completely her. I loved the challenge.
This is what I put together for her.
It starts with the Floral Embroidered Lace Trim Mini Dress — and the moment I saw it, I knew. Delicate embroidery, soft lace trim, a hemline that sits just so. It’s feminine through and through, but that little bit of skin is exactly what gives it its edge. Pretty with purpose.
Over the top, the Fringe Jacket does something really special. It adds that western boho soul she was after — all that tan suede movement — while keeping the silhouette open enough that the dress still does its thing underneath. It’s the kind of layer you throw on and immediately feel cooler.
The Ariat Casanova Pink Cowboy Boots (not yet launched on our website – pre-orders being taken with this early access link!) were non-negotiable for me. That blush tone against white and tan is a combination I’d happily style every single day — and the tall shaft and pointed toe bring exactly the confidence this outfit was asking for. These are on early access right now and stock is limited, so if they’re speaking to you the way they spoke to me, move quickly.
The Ranch Tan Cowboy Hat and Feather Fringe Hoop Earrings finish it off — effortless, a little wild, and completely in step with the rest of the look.
She wanted feminine. She wanted western. She wanted sexy. I think this delivers on all three.
