Country Music Festivals & Gigs this July and August (2026)
The summer of country music is officially in full swing, and there’s plenty to get excited about. From sun-soaked festival fields to huge headline tours, the UK country music calendar is packed with events worth booking up — and, of course, planning your outfits around.
Whether you’re heading to a weekend country music festival, a big stadium show or a laid-back outdoor gig, we’ve rounded up the key dates to have on your radar, plus plenty of styling tips to help you look the part. So dust off your cowboy boots, grab your favourite hat and let Melbelle help you get country-season ready.
JULY COUNTRY MUSIC EVENTS
SHANIA TWAIN
📍Wembley Stadium, London
🗓️ 12 June 2026 – 4 July 2026
🎟️ Tickets
If you’re looking for a reason to dust off your cowboy boots this summer, you’ll be pleased to know that Shania Twain is still here rocking UK stages in early July. The country music icon continues to bring her signature energy, powerhouse vocals and feel-good anthems to packed-out crowds, proving exactly why she’s remained one of the biggest names in country music for decades.
Naturally, this calls for a standout country-inspired outfit. Think statement denim, a touch of sparkle, your favourite cowboy boots and a hat if you’re feeling brave. After all, when Shania’s in town, there’s no such thing as being overdressed.
COUNTRY ON THE COMMON
📍Tooting Common, London
🗓️ 4 July – 5th July 2026
🎟️ Tickets
If you’re after something a little more laid-back this summer, but with all the country feel, Country on the Common is worth a look. Taking over Tooting Common, this outdoor country music festival brings together live country artists (a mix of artists and tribute acts), great food, plenty of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of London. It’s proof that you don’t need to travel to Nashville to enjoy a brilliant day of country music.
Style Tip: Think easy-going festival style. A floaty dress or denim shorts paired with cowboy boots is always a winning combination, while a lightweight jacket or overshirt will come in handy once the sun starts to set.
LUKE COMBS
📍Edinburgh & London
🗓️ 24 July- 31st July 2026
🎟️ Tickets
As if the summer country music calendar wasn’t exciting enough already, Luke Combs is heading to both Edinburgh and London this July. What started as a devoted country fanbase has grown into something much bigger, with Luke becoming a firm favourite among UK music lovers of all genres. His powerful vocals, relatable lyrics and stadium-filling singalongs have made him one of the most in-demand artists to visit the UK in recent years.
When it comes to outfit planning, Luke Combs concerts are all about effortless country style. Think relaxed denim, a graphic tee, comfortable cowboy boots and a lightweight jacket and hat, for when the sun goes down. It’s the perfect balance between laid-back and country cool — ideal for a night of singing your heart out to every word.
AUGUST COUNTRY MUSIC EVENTS
THE LONG ROAD FESTIVAL
Stanford Hall, Leicester
27-30 August
If you’re a fan of country and Americana music, then The Long Road Festival definitely deserves a spot on your summer calendar. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Stanford Hall in Leciestershire, it’s so much more than just a music festival – it’s a full-blown immersive celebration of country culture. The 2026 Long Road line-up is packed with huge names, including Bailey Zimmerman, Maren Morris, the legend that is Emmylou Harris, homegrown talent The Shires, Steve Earle and Josh Ross. Expect plenty of unforgettable live music moments.
Between sets, you can try your hand at line dancing, browse the classic American car and bike show, tuck into authentic Southern food, and even bring your dog along for the weekend (a massive win in my book). Throw in camping under the stars, the welcoming community of country music fans, and it’s easy to see why it’s become one of the UK’s favourite Americana and country music festivals. For those of you with little ones in tow, it’s also incredibly family-friendly so bring everyone along!
Style tip: Opt for a pair of sturdy cowboy boots – and add a few layers, a Boho Cardigan, or a classic Western Sweatshirt, for those cooler evenings and you’ll be ready for whatever the British weather throws your way.
